Title: cutting out!

can anyone help i have a 2.6 elite facelift when the car gets hot it cuts out and you have to wait for it to cool down before it starts again any thoughts  :-/

Do the pedal trick test Paperclip Test & Pedal Test (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1189022687).

Chances are that the crank position sensor is failing.

What those 2 said above. Classic crank sensor symptoms.

Post up your fault codes, I'm guessing a 0335 will be in there somewhere...
