Ok, so I was reading in my Service Manual that when I remove the bolts to remove the cam sprockets, that I will have to replace the bolts, meaning they are torque to yield. However, I did read somewhere that this changed, and that the 3.0 in 96 or 97 and up cars didn't have TTY bolts, and could be reused. Anyone know? I just don't want to take the chance reusing them and having them fail on me!

Changing cams is common in the UK as it's a good performance mod for the 2.5 engine. I wouldn't mind betting that most of them are running round on 2nd hand sprocket bolts with no issues...
Then again, for the cost of 4 bolts...

That would be awesome if I can reuse them.... I figure I'll just reinstall them with some red threadlocker and it should be fine.... if not, it's an excuse to get a 3.2 out of a CTS!

Hmph..... it looks like I won't be taking any chances with the bolts...

Can anyone get these for me on here? I called the Cadillac dealer, and they claim that they don't have them of course! If someone here can get them, PM me and let me know how much they are plus shipping and I'll be glad to paypal you.
