i have been trying to remove the window winder on my r door but it won,t budge any help will be welcome. thanks. mel

If you push the door card in a little you should be able to see a small metal clip shaped like this...

Use a small screwdriver to push it out from the open end just be careful as they fly well ;D

thanks for the info. the haynes manual says. bunch a piece of cloth under one side &push down on the other side &work it off the shaft. mel.

Haynes doesn't say that ........ Vauxhall have used the same clip for years & years, my Manta had the same thing.
Haynes actually says .....
.... locate a cloth rag between the handle and trim panel and pull it to one side to release the spring clip. The handle can now be removed from the splined shaft .....
I've never had a problem ;) but it easier when you've done it once & know what you're looking for.

Vauxhall have used the same clip for years & years...

I use two flatblade screwdrivers and push from the open end of the clip, just remember to keep your eyes out of the firing range.

Cloth does the job, I've used a sock for years on different cars to get the clip off. Just put the cloth between the handle and door card, a few turns/some wiggling and off it comes...

Andy B. ur right about what it says in the hayns manual. I tried it but i must be doing it wrong. thanks for all the advice from all the posts from fellow oof,rs. mel.
