Title: running temperature after water pump replacement
Post by: mark.adams on 21 August 2010, 10:52:49
my Z22XE seems to run a lot hotter after replacing the water pump, dash gauge sits at 90 constantly and fans cut in and out on a normal run, it used to be around 80-85 previously, also the heat from the engine compartment is quite stifling, is this normal?

Why did you change the water pump?

If it wasn't circulating water properly the temperature sensor may have been giving an incorrect (low) reading before you changed the pump.
