oaky give up where is it , have had a lookand can not find it on my 2.2 petrol

Usually on Vauxhalls the fuel filter is underneath the car, near the fuel tank... locate the fuel lines where they exit the tank and follow their route untill you find it...

Exactly ;) Normally just in front of the tank, drivers side :y

Easy to spot, just in from the offside rear wheel.
