Title: changing the gearbox oil + filter

hi how hard is it to change the oil and filter on a 3.0 elite has my car has done 122000 or is it like my old bmw 735i e38 that i just got rid of for this omega  a seal for life box i must say i like the omega better or do you know where i could get this job done many thanks

not hard, just messy....

gotta drop the 2 sumps, clean or replace the filter.
reassemble
fill with new atf - like fuchs titan 4000
while car level, and running, and after going through all the gears, fill till atf trickles out the level plug,  refir plug and job done.

should have also said see stickies in the parts for sale area..

we have discounts from opie oils for the fluid, and JPAT for new gaskets and filter if you want one.

Incredibly messy job but not that difficult, can be made much cheaper by cleaning the filter with parafin and using instant gasket as opposed to a new Vaux one.

Made a big difference to mine :y
