Title: Rear reversing sensors on a Facelift estate .
Post by: Olympia5776 on 25 August 2010, 21:35:28
Has anyone fitted aftermarket rev. sensors on a Facelift estate ?
I only want to know if there is sufficient room between the bumper face and the rear panel to allow for the sensors, I presume there is a strenghening bar behind the plastic bumper too if so is it immediatly behind the plastic ?
I've fitted them to all our other vehicles but would prefer not to have to remove the bumper to find out what is behind if possible.
Thanks  :y

My car is the face lift type estate  there is only foam and space bars so you have to take bumper off to drill the holes in the right place
put masking tape on so its easier to mark the drill holes

It's CISBO units I've fitted on the other cars and van so I'll stick with them as the work and are reliable.
Bumper seems straight forward to remove so I guess I'll take it off and waxoyl behind it at the same time .
Thanks for the replies all ...... :y
