Home made fix, But now I think I should be using the grey blue wire for coolant temp rather than grey for pump temp, Has anyone fitted this fix?

Thats what I was looking for.

Putting 2k in series with sender for hot start turns on glow plugs and increases idle.

I will do. I had just put a switch in the car for awkward moments. I wanted to see if it worked well. It does help, even thouhg cold starts are still faster!

the one i got from Taw Parks 4x4 switches itself off after 30secs - IanD actually fitted it for me. now i just have to wait a few secs for the glow-plug light to go out before i try to start. :y
