Title: Elite 17" Alloy Type?
Post by: Mack on 27 August 2010, 18:32:21
Hi All,

Got a bit of damage on one of my alloys, considering reconditioning or replacement - does anyone know the type or part number of the 17" 6 spoke alloys fitted to the 2002 Elite so I can find out how much one might cost from the stealers or find one on e-bay?

Mine are the same as this cars, I think: http://users.autoexposure.co.uk/vehicle.cfm?Account=AETA40921&Style=2&Id=AETV24159300&Image=http://images.autoexposure.co.uk/AETA40921/AETV24159300_1a.jpg

Cheers,

Mack.

Not sure what there called, I call them late MV6 Facelift Alloys, they weren't that common due to the demise of the Omega in 2003.

Plus side is, they were the fitted to the late Facelift Elites, MV6's and the 2.2 Sports which widens your search a bit.

I have a couple sets floating around, but sadly there earmarked for a couple of projects of mine.

VX garage reckons £170 new, but seem quite rare, so might need to watch e-bay for a while, I think....

You should be able to pick up a full set with tyres for  around 200 ~ 250, sometimes less.

I'll bear you in mind just in case any of my projects goes pear shaped.
