Title: steering wander

Steering has started to feel unstable.seems to be drivers side.I can feel a kick from that side.Any ideas?

Check the steering idler, track rod ends and wishbones carefully for any play :y

This happened on mine last year. Steering and suspension felt loose and seemed to wander when driving. Changed the front control arms and what a difference.Seems the bushes had gone soft over time. Still check your idler and balljoints though

Also worth checking the spring hasn't snapped, especially if the problem has come on all of a sudden.

Wishbone bushes usually favourite, but add wheel baring and steering knuckle(ball joint at the hub end of the wishbone) to the list.
