Or at least it sounds like it, turning steering at very low speeds makes a sound that only be described as everybodys favourite wookie, no resistance, and operates as you would expect, just noisy at V.low speed, any ideas?
P.S Steering fluid level is fine.

Air in the system is a culprit of that. With the PS reservoir cap off, turn lock to lock several times. If that doesn't cure it, check the union joints on the PS hoses for leaks. Failing all of that, the Power Steering Pump is FUBAR :(

lol thats the exact same noise mine makes on just 2 particular left bends!! only lasts for about 2 seconds but it drives me nuts that i cant get to the bottom of it!!! changed the fluid twice checked belt tension etcetc can only think its a resonance thing in the pump body? the wife thinks its hilarious when we approach the bends knowing its going to happen and my entire
body is tuned to the car to try and track it down!!!

Also, what colour is the PS fluid? It should be red in colour and nice and clear to look through. If it is murky at all, it has boiled (air in system) and needs replacing ASAP (after finding out where the air is getting in).
