Hi can anbody help with this problem,i had to fit two new tyres to my car last week after noticing that the tyres had gone to metal band on both inside very edges of tyre had no real feeling of tracking out only in the last week noticed a bit of wobble when braking and general not happy with steering, now had two tyres done only to find when braking getting shudder on steering wheel which would point to warped disc's is there anything else apart from tracking or warped disc's that would cause this and what make of disc's should i replace with i seem to remember carltons suffering from similar problem years ago. you don't check yer tyres too often then?! - lol - did you have the wheels balanced and wheel alignment checked when tyres were fitted?? - tyre pressures checked? check yer w/bones etc etc....- if problem persists, i suggest a visit to WIM :y

Genuine discs.
If you join Autobahnstormers you will be able to get trade prices.
Brake judder (and steering going to pieces at the same time) is a clear indication that the bushes are shot on the front wishbones (AKA control arms).
Tyres worn on the inside edges is an indication of too much negative camber (which IS adjustable on the Omega). The negative camber increases as the wishbone bushes wear so another indication that you need new wishbones.

Agree wishbones need replacing, so while your there Check all other steering and suspension components, replace as necessary, then get the car set up for caster camber and toe at the likes of wheels in motion in Chesham, or get them to do the work for you. Common problem on the Omega sadly.

Check wheels in motion web site, they are in chesham but have approved outlets around the country, some "not approved" companies aren't worth visiting. You need to get the right place.
