Title: In-car phone
Post by: chris7of9 on 31 August 2010, 18:40:08
Hi
New here, I have just bought a 2.5 Elite, very pleased with it. It has the phone built into the Audio unit, I phoned Vauxhall to ask what sim I need and where to get it (credit card size), because of it's age (1999) they couldn't help. Any idea's please
Regards
Chris

Welcome to the mele  :y
If you remove the buttons from the front - little round push button on the right - the SIM lives at the bottom  of the recess. O2 & Vodaphone are the only cards that work.  :y  :y

What model Radio? And year of car?

I have a CCRT700, if yours is the same you need the credit card size holder which takes the mini SIM card, can't remember where I got that, but try Vodafone or O2 as they are the only ones which support this system.

HTH

Note to self. Must type faster.

Sorry didn't note that. I guess yours is the same as mine, a CCRT700 so what I said applies.
