That's all I've managed with this car untill another fault.
The engine has had its head skimmed and no more coolant loss. Sunday night, went to the car and it wouldn't start. Took several attempts at cranking it over. Eventually it would catch and the stall. Once she was running she was fine.
Came to it this morning and she started fine. Put her into D and she stalled. Started again straight away, but no sport mode, no kick down and it's like waiting for christmas for it to actually set off. There's no evidence of slip, just no blumming go. Once rolling she builds up speed, but there's no kick down.
Was blummin fun with the caravan on the back this morning, I can tell you.
The only other thing thats started happening is a solonoid clicking sound. Can't make my mind up if it's coming from the transmission tunnel or the glovebox. Had a three year old in the car so it was difficult to hear propperly.

Any fault lights on?

Needs codes reading but i wonder if this could be cam sensor although when mine was failing i didnt get a code for it .... :-/

No lights on the dash. (They don't work :( )
Will call my mecanic in the morning. Just a nightmare to get the car to him as I work so far from home :(

Just dropped the car off at the garage. Cam shaft sensor seems to be the fault. Told him to order a genuine one.

Yeah it did kind of sound similar to what i was getting when mine failed although it never gave a fault for it :y :y

I'm just hoping that this is the end of it all so I can enjoy the car again.

Quick update.
Rang my mate today. He's replaced the Sensor and she fired up a dream. She ran the best she ever has apparently!
They switched her off and replaced al the covers and bumf. Started her up again and now she wont rev up. The codes are coming back saying that the throtle position is not sending any signals. She runs great apparently. If they could get the damn thing to rev and move. lol.
I think i'm gonna torch this car on Nov 5th. A ceremony of fire when she's running lol.
I'm starting to think this car has it in for me :(

It seems likely they have disturbed the wiring when fitting your new sensor. Does your car have an electronic throttle pedal?

Rob, make sure the throttle sensor plug is pushed fully home on the throttle body & the small vacuum pipe is fitted tightly too (right hand side of throttle body if leaning over the drivers side wing) :y
