Post by: brian36 on 04 September 2010, 21:22:57
good day to all,
excuse my lack of mechanical knowledge but have a wee and annoying problem with my omega b elite.
when i go over a pothole or large matchstick i get a real thud from front ,the springs seem fine as do shockers  i did the simple push down on bonnet thing, strange thing is front goes over with a thud but back goes no probs could this be wishbones? would appreciate your views and best place to get the parts, many thanks :)

Check all suspension components.

Wishbones
Drop Links
Track Rod's (and Track Rod Ends)
Steering Connection
Steering Idler

You'll probably find play in one or more of these components.

Droplinks mate. Easy enough to change 15mins each side, price varies from £8-15 each

drop link check. just to add in case no ones mentioned it. jack on the cross beam/centre so both wheels are off the ground (level in the air) or on the ground if using a pit/ramps
