I asked Mark dtm how to do this at Newent but it seems the firewater affected my memory.
I have a 4.2 ratio dif to fit thanks to Serek, and need some advice on the procedure. All I can remember is something about a garden spade :-/ ;D

Dig hole and bury head, Chris??? ;D ;D ;D

I tend to remove the drive shafts first.
Easy enough to do, undo the 6 bolts securing the lobro to the rear hub and prise it out from the mount and upwards (this is key!)
Then, using the end of a spade, lever the drive shaft from the diff end (there is a proper tool but a spade works)
Then its easy enough to unbolt the diff and drop it, this requires the prop to be disconnected (see diff pinion seal guide) and dont forget to disconnect the ABS leads.

Thanks Mark, but what's a Lobro? The flange bit on the end of the drive shaft presumably?

Lobro is the equivalent of a Cv joint
