Title: brake problem

cliking noise under car when i apply the brakes,also ther not that great where do i start looking first

Check brake discs and pads. Then check all suspension jounts and bushes.

First thing to do is check your fluid level, and then whip the  wheels off and have a look at the discs and pads and renew any suspect parts. But if you need to ask this question it suggests that you may not have a lot of experience working on braking systems and if you are not confident you may be better getting one of the mechanics that frequent this site to have a look at them for you :y

Check for obvious things,loose wheel nuts,etc, have a look at the balljoints on the track rod ends,if they're gone they'll be squashed and split, usually the cause of a click or a small knock when braking is a loose balljoint travelling,

ABS problem?...had this on a different car.. :-/
