Title: codes 0170 and 0173

Driving home tonight and managment light came on.Got the above codes. Still runs perfect.Any help please?

Thanks for that NF. Just had a look at old topics and it points towards the MAF being at fault. :(

Cars knackered manny i'll take it off your hands for you, but only if you wash it first ;D ;D ;D

On a serious note sounds like you need to squit a bit of carb cleaner around that egine bay to check for leaks befire you start splashing out on a new MAF sensor :y

Its a deal :D. I dont think its an air leak. I put hand over air intake but not enough to stall it. There was no sign of a leak. Ive got a piper cross air filter on it and im thinking could this be the problem?

Could be oil from the filter contaminating the MAF :(

Ive read this before pete about the oil getting on maf so i was very carefull not to put too much on.
