Title: something wrong

hi
just been driving my car it feels like it not got the poke it had before feels like its struggling in the lower gears
ive replaced the spark plugs and air and fuel filter but still the same
i read somewhere about vac pipes are these the same as breather pipes and can these be causing this
how do i go about testing/ cleaning them
any help would be apreciated

I would do the paperclip test first and see if there are any codes stored first ;)

i have a code reader wich i bought of the bay
it gives me the 0170 and 0173 but these have been on for a while and according to some of the post on here these shouldnt make much difference

These codes suggest that there is something wrong.

0170 Fuel trim malfunction (Bank 1)
0173 Fuel trim malfunction (Bank 2)

I would investigate the cause.   :y

Maf or air leak. Air leak could also affect multi rams, does it take off at 4k rpm or a step in the power in that area of the rev range?

To add, check the main vac pipe from plenum where it passes the ac pipe, they are a favourite for rubbing through and vac drawing air in at that point. If the whole vac system is fine would suspect maf. But check thoroughly, maf's ain't cheap.

Common fault on the 3.2 .. get the eml reset and ignore it for a while .. :)

or go to major hassle of moving the sensors. :)
