Title: glove box lock

Am I right in assuming that to get to the glove box locking mechanism I have to remove the complete glove box?

My glovebox mechanism was broken, so I had to get the lock out with the glovebox closed. I practised on a scrap one which i broke! Afiver well spent. you willneed the vent off for one of the fasteners

The passenger side air vent assembly/side of the dashboard. :y

Fixing this stopped me buying a particular Omega.... ::) ::)
