Ive had a look at afew other posts and didnt notice any of this nature.
Ive got a 96 2.5 v6 thats now i think some kind of fuel starving as its gets up the revs it loses power but no misfires of anythin it just dosnt pull like it should!
Fuel filter has bein changed and no eml on
Any body any ideas and is it possible to get rid of all the air gubins from around that rad?
-
Hi you may need to clean the idle speed adjuster valve.Use plenty carb/cleaner. HTH :y
-
I will try that thanks. i thort it may of been a fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator but it dosn't do it all the time
-
By the air gubbins round the rad I presume you mean the multi rams ?
If you ditch that the car will probably never run right again. I suspect your problem could actually be linked to a problem with the multi rams - one of the actuators not working.
-
This may help explain things better than I could. :y

well i will try all these things and see i will also use my diognostics machine an see if that tells me anythin? but no eml at present and the multiram would put this on if it was faulty wouldn't it ?
And also ive been told to put a 3.8 bar fuel pressure regulator on it

Just noticed your in Stoke. If you cant get things sorted easily drop a PM to Darth Loo-knee. He travels all over the country fixing Omegas, but as he is also a Stokie you are lucky enough to have him on "round the corner".
I dont think multi ram problems will show a fault code, afaik.
-
just woundered as the link you sent shows a couple of fault codes? is it something that can just be cleaned or you can get hold of? And do you no if putting a 3.8 bar fuel pressure reg will make any difference to the performance once the prob is fixed?
-
Check for vac leaks, as multirams are vac operated. No fault code will be displayed if the multirams are electrically OK.
A bigger FPR will make precisely sod all difference at all (beyond perhaps a slight improvement for 2 or 3 miles). Ignore any further advice from the idiot who suggested that.

Ok I won't listen lol I don't no much bout the v6 had loads to do with others. Is there any other problems this could be I wil check for leaks in a bit
-
Ok I've sucked on the vacuum pipes to the rams an they open quite easy and when it's running and you rev it up both valves are opening an closing so any ideas on that
