Hi I have a problem I have just came back from a 2 week holiday and I cant get into my car!!! I had to change the battery a few months ago and its been fine! The only thing is that my key doesn't seem to open the door either and I have only one key for the car!!! I can change the battery on the key fob but I dont think this is the problem before it isn't opening the door!!
Is there anyway of getting into the car apart from smashing a window!!! Not good
And help would be great

Try the key again. It will be VERY stiff and will feel like you're going to snap it, but don't worry, it wont! BTW, the door lock pin wont lift when the door opens, so you wont be able to see that it's open, so after trying with the key, lift the handle to see if it has unlocked. It may not open 1st time, so persevere, it WILL open :y

When you had the key apart to replace the battery you could have lost the chip that sits in the horse shoe shaped bit. Check to see if u can find it.
