Hi all, after a long absence, due to an extended tour in a certain hot & dusty country, I am due to put my 'beastie' back on the road.
It passed it's MoT, although I was advised that the headlamp level is too low (ex ARV, has xenons). The 'low beam/Fld vision light is currently showing. The traction control light is also on. One of my mates has had a quick look (& a drive) & has confirmed that the traction control does indeed not appear to be working.
Is there anyone in or near Aberdeen who can assist/advise on this? I want to keep the car on the road, as it's fine for what I need to do, but I don't want to get ripped off to put things right.
While I remember, it also needs a new belt kit fitted, & I've either been told that people aren't interested as it's "too big a job" or they've quoted what I feel is silly money.
Again, anyone who can help me out on this one.....
 Cheers

TC light could be a sensor or possibly ABS ECU, plenty of people on here who can do you Cambelt for a very good price, Darth Loo-Knee or Elite Pete just to name a couple  :y

Cheers mate - I'll try to get in touch with them.
I'm having a bit of a nightmare, as I've been away for a long time, & I'm now finding out all the little things that have gone pear shaped while I've been off on my travels.
I'm going to swallow my pride & ask for help though, as I'm getting stressed at stupid things at the moment, & don't want to make a cock up!

Just had this problem with mine although didn't get the TC light. The MID low beam fld/vision warning means there is a problem with the HID self levelling headlights - could be faulty/broken sensor on front or rear suspension or a self levelling motor has packed up. Mine turned out to be a broken sensor on the front nearside wishbone.

Thanks for that - hopefully it will be something relatively easy to fix. I take it the best way to find out whats going on will be to get it plugged in somewhere? Does this have to be a garage job, or can some of the guys on the forum help out, as mentioned above?

If the TC is switched OFF the light stays illuminated on the dash, just a thought.......

I hear you mate, but unfortunately, that would just be far too easy! Unless the switch is stuck. I'll check it at the weekend, when I pick it up.
