hi guys, today i fitted a new door to my mv6, whilst doing this i disconnected the battery. when i put it all back together i noticed a plug was not connected the air filter pipe (i can only assume its a maf sensor?), so i plugged it back in and from doing this the car now runs very lumpy.
when stationary the car idles under 1000rpm but feels like its going to stall and the dash lights go dim and bright in time with the idle problem.
any help would be greatly recieved.
many thanks, simon

Sounds like the maf is knackered and someone has disconnected it, try disconnecting it again and see if the poor running improves

i disconnected it this morning and after a quick drive it started being sweet as a nut again??? new maf needed then me thinks although it dont seem to be doing it any harm without it! :-/
