had this trouble last year , now the weather getting colder and wetter front screen always mists up , changed pollen filter, checked gullies etc they were blocked with crap , cleaned out .even set blower on correct settings .....help....

The vents in the boot area clear and not blocked off by junk as mine was :-[

Try this, switch on Auto mode, switch-on the air recirculation by pressing the button A once (3 round arrows will be indicated, without "A" in the middle). Now the ECC will recognize the correct flap position. Wait 1-2 s and then switch-off the air recirculation by pressing the button A again.

You running with or without aircon? Even (perhaps mpre so...) in damp, autumnal conditions, use the aircon to dry the air in the car sooner rather than later... ;)

I would also check that the recirculation flap is moving properly. Just up above the passenger footwell (can maybe see it move from inside the pollen filter housing after removing the filter).
Have you checked the scuttle drain is clear?
If it was blocked did it get as far as leaking into the cabin? If so, the carpet might need drying.

as above use air-con this helps keep the mould away. :y
