Title: Brake Master Cylinder - same for all models?
Post by: unclelicklug on 04 October 2010, 12:25:03
Does any one know if the brake master cylinder stayed the same all the way through the Mig production run?

I am looking at one on fleabay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290475144369&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

Advertised for 2.0 2.5 3.0 AND TD, mine is a 2002 2.2DTi.

I've asked the seller but he only has info' for the models listed.

Thanks.....

not same - at least three different master cylinders.

Unfortunately, I'm not by my "work" computer right now, so can't look it up for you.

try to find the aftersales web catalogue on conti-online

Thanks - I have a P/No now, 9193218...

Edit - I'll see if I can find the corresponding P/No on my own car...

no you won't, but at least you'll find a cast number which is the bore size you already have.

expect 20/25 or 25/25, they're the common sizes
