what does it do and what are the symptoms for a faulty sensor.
-
On what engine?
Its used to syncronise injection/spark.
On 4 pots, limits revs to 4.5k, often limps g/b, and makes it a pig to hot start
Never fail on v6, so don't know symptoms

ok thanks, was just wondering

It tells the ECU which pot is firing as you cant get that info from the crank sensor (as it has 2 rotations per cycle on a 4 stroke)

Camshaft or crankshaft Richie? Thought you had a code 19.
