Title: omega weight
Post by: theharv on 07 October 2010, 10:02:27
as per my newbie post ,my friend bought the car for spares for his car and asked me to get £250 back on the car ,im half way there ,my question is how much does a 2.5 v6 elite weigh as im thinking of scrapping the rest to make up the difference and cover costs etc

I've just finished breaking an Mv6 and, to be honest £250 should be attainable very easily just by removing the catalytic converters (£130 scrap value) and weighing in the rest...

Have a browse through the Car Parts, Bits for Sale & Wanted Section. You will see loads of parts for sale & sold there, all with the prices being asked. It will give you the best idea what to charge for your bits. :y

If the items are being collected why ask for a tenner to wrap them :-?

Em for me to wrap bumper and get ready for collection would cost me ,as the items being sent loose may get damaged ,im fair but not stupid

yup stonehaven aberdeenshire ,i was working on the car last night and think its a bit beyond me ,so i think it will be going rather soon as i have made £70 selling parts ,another £50 from the wheels and the rest will be made up in scrap so i will make the £250 my friend paid out on it .
