Title: alarm not working on button

hi the alarm is not working on my 99 omega v6 saloon... nothing from the button.. have changed the battery but no joy .. can lock the car by using the key but the alarm goes off when you unlock it ... not good as i leave for work at 4am every morning ...!!!
any ideas guys

Your remote is fubarred, get the remote part off to Martin Imber on here who will do a stirling job of repairing it. DON'T loose the transponder chip out of the key part or you won't be able to start your car. As for the alarm going off, reach round from the rear drivers side door to lock the drivers door, this will central lock the car without setting the alarm ;) :y

hi thanks for that ... i have two keys and they both dont work is that still the same problem?

have you tried to re-sync your keys? Ignition on, then press lock/unlock (it's one of them  :-/), your central locking should then lock & then immediately inlock. The key should now talk to your central locking  :y
