Hi just poking about under the hood and found a bit of a leak is this common? i'm geussing it is the gasket between the two bodies i was looking for the whistling sound coming from the motor i thought it was the serpentine belt but sprayed it with wd40 and the noise is still there sounds bearingish perhaps alternator bearing is on it's way out?

Check the jubilee clip is tight on the throttle body and clean the breathers properly. It's blow back from crankcase pressure.

Yes he is Mr Green, & also the large one at the rear of the rocker cover (cam cover) to the crankcase. Looking at your pictures you have definately got/had backpressure looking at that oil staining which incidentally, has come from the throttle body/air hose connection. :y

Some oil mist coming into the throttle body via the breathers is surely normal, however clear the breathers are? (Never a bad idea to check/clean them out though)
The outside of our TB is much dirtier than that, but I don't care enough to try to clean it off. :-[
