I have been asked by a friend where the the cabin heater resistor is fitted in his mig.
A. Does it have one
B. Where is it fitted?

Behind the glove box in the ventilation duct (the air moving through the ventilation duct keeps it cool ish)
Early Omegas with a rotary selector switch to set the fan speed do have an old fashioned resistor.
Later ones with climate control have an electronic speed controller but I think it still needs to be kept cool and lives in the same place int the ventilation duct.
Omegas have a drain hole in the scuttle that is prone to blocking. The rising water level can drown the speed controller and cause its early demise :(
