Can anyone help me. I did a paperclip test on my1995 2.5v6 cdx auto and got these two codes.
144 Immobiliser No Signal
145 Immobiliser Wrong Signal
I can lock/unlock all the doors via the central locking, using the key in the lock and start the car with the same key. The key has not got any buttons on it just a plain key, looks like one that has been cut at a key cutters. I have never had these come up all the years I have had the car, using the same key. Also no alarm problems, when I lock the car the alarm goes through its checks and then flashes on the dash as normal.
Has anybody any ideas what has thrown up these two codes and what needs to be done to remove them? The car is off the road at the moment but am hoping to start using it again, will it need a code reader putting on it, once it is back on the road? I forgot to say that I haven't touched anything in the engine bay, but the car battery went flat.
Thanks in advance for any help.

If it starts, dont worry, those codes never self delete, needs plugging into a computer to remove em.
just ignore em.

Thank you for the quick reply. Yes everything seems to be OK, starting etc. So will do as you suggest and ignore them and get it to a reader once back on the road.
Thanks again.
