This seems interesting.

Seems a good deal but how much would a head gasket change cost....if the seller has diagnosed the problem correctly of course.
-
yes if it goes cheap, with all those extras on it it's gotta be worth a couple of grand
-
worth a tidy sum even with a blown head gasket. :y
-
Isn't it usually the oil cooler rather than the head gasket that goes on this model???
Still a bargain either way
-
Would make another great family car!!! :) :)
-
straight on my watch list !!!!!
primarily coz i want all the bits off it.... it looks like the right colour to bolt directly on to my estate..... i rather like the rims as well, and i need an NCDC unit..... , i note it's got a CID as well. (not bothered by that, but if i was doing it all, may as well have it.... )
wonder if i should call him and offer him some cash.....

Looks the buisness, is the head gasket the only fault ?
Also seems to have a gas conversion. So over heating could be other-wise related as no other signs of head gasket failure was stated! ;) :-/
-
I asked the seller what the mileage is..
250,000 on the chassis, recon engine fitted at 159,000..
-
definitely just for the bits then ;-)
-
Engines only done 90K if recon fitted at 159K
-
Probably oil cooler, the head gaskets on the 2.6 and 3.2 are metal multilayer so to blow them you are probably needing to warp the heads and that takes some doing on the V6!

Seller told me there is "oil in the cooling system"...
