I seem to recall the last bunch were neatly arranged when we visited, until one of my dogs decided to make a dash at the plate  ;D

Its quite common for the on/off button to become troublesome...esp if not used often......a general hard whack usually sorts it......tho funnily enuf after i started using that approach the rest of buttons stopped working......in the end i had to complain to vx dealer who replaced it under warranty  :y ;D

The actual rubber on mine had gone sticky and soft (and cut the jokes about my knob being soft and sticky), so needed a replacement off the 'spare' CAR400 I had rolling around the boot....

Yeah, I'm part of the sticky knob club as well.  Try to just use the wheel controls.  I may try some sort of little black plastic/rubber condom for it.

IIRC, yours is ccrt700, which means you'll struggle to get a replacement. This was the CCR800 in the MV6, so nicked a knob off a CAR400 I found in the boot

Your welcome.....

Managed to get quite a bit done yesterday what with your sump plug, Jimbobs handbrake, wishbones, droplinks and cruise.

Indeed, was a very enjoyable day, and evening. The trip home was a killer though!

Additionally, Mr DTM, I know those helicoils aren't cheap.  Please allow me to get you a 'refill pack', only I don't know what to get, or where  :-[

Those women watch some strange stuff on the telly - even when it was explained, I struggled to get a grip on what was going on....
