If i get the switches to fit in where the blanks are (TC) etc.. I know they wont work but would they light up ? I have looked behind the blanks and the metal connections are there.
-
I would have thought so but you would probably need the relavant blub/housing? i take it you dont like them being blank?
-
naa i hate it looking blank I know they wont work but at least it will look full if you know what i mean
-
yes they will light up with the sidelights on i just put a alarm button in my ex plod and that lights up
-
just make sure whatever switches you get have working bulbs, and there are 3 types of buttons for the pre/minifacelifts
1 is smooth black plastic
2nd is textured black plastic
3rd is ruber feel and generally nasty feeling, rubber often wwears off making the switch look white.

It says 2.2 though :P :D
-
sorry i never said i have the 2000 full facelift model
-
is there anyway to make them do what there ment to do or does the car have to be a V6 elite?
-
You`re only missing two switches. TC not feasible on a 4-pot. Rear blind not doable on an estate.
-
what about the boot popper switch ?
-
what about the boot popper switch ?
Forgot about that one :-[. Switch will illuminate but should imagine it`s a fair bit of mucking about to get the tailgate to actuate. Not even sure whether it`s doable :-/

Thanks for that i think i will just get the switches to fill the gaps and not worry about getting them to do the jobs they are ment for :y
-
just remember to take them out when you sell it, or you will be plagued with phonecalls of "this doesnt work and that does jack.."
;D
-
saying that looking on ebay a Linear Actuator would easily open and close the boot. Maybe something for the future :y
-
;D I will saying that i think shes mine till the day she dies
