Oh, that's a job for the weekend. You've reminded me. Mine needs re-adjusting since I changed the disks and pads last week.

I think that has got to be one of the most fiddly jobs on the entire braking system.
I replaced both my back discs and pads today..not before time as the pads had worn a very heavy groove into the o/s disc and the pads had all but disintegrated so just braking via the metal..not good I know.
Have come to the conclusion that with new brake shoes it is only just possible to get the disc /drum on with the little star adjuster wound right in..lever comes up 3 clicks and holds car nicely so hope any adjustment on mine will be a way down the line now as trying to get a screw driver into the inspection hole and turn that little wheel looks like a right game.
Did find MarkDTM suggestion of the 2 pairs of long nose pliers the best sloution to get the cut out washers back on the pins but what a job..you need 4 pairs of hands and patience of JOB.
Anyway my job is now done so brakes have life again.
For referrence to others part numbers are as follows:
Back Dics/Drums.......93182292....£59=77

The adjusters aren't too bad as long as you have a torch (LED type seems better for this) to locate them and click them in the right direction each side :-[
Done a few now so probably got the 'knack'

Your eyes must be alot better than mine !!
It was very sunny today but even with handheld 27 bulb led light I couldn,t see a thing..should have gone to spec savers I suppose ??
I am happy though as with new hand brake shoes fitted to new discs/drums...star adjuster wound fully in and cable adjusted, handbrake lever comes up 4 clicks now and holds car solid.
Job done just recovering from hands/knees working with a fairly large glass of cider.

I keep meaning to get 1 of those cheap LED light key rings to butcher, put it on the end of a small diameter tube at right angle, with battery and switch on the other end of the tube... The inside of the disk should then light enough to see what you are doing, rather than looking at the back of the torch...
Last time I adjusted them, I managed to get a screwdriver holding the spring out of the way whilst I adjusted, which made things much easier...
