There's often questions on here along the lines of 'what do you think this/these would look like on my car' and generally the final answer is the same-
It's your car, if everyone on this forum thinks you look a twerp, but you think it looks good, then go for it! Ultimately, your own opinion is always the best!
My twopenneth, personally is VXR wheels from an Astra/ Vectra look amazing on Omegas :-)
-
yes indeed your right, im pretty cautious when it comes to alloys, i had an arden blue zaffy gsi before and bought a new set of vxr`s for that and it looked awesome imo. i do think alloys would have to be fairly strong and well moulded for a car like the omega?? lol ;)

Ohhh, very beautiful.
Zafira GSi's one of those cars that people could criticise as a compromise (of you want an sports car, then buy on etc..) but they really are amazing handers and utterly underrated, aren't they? And by the way, the alloys look stunning on that! Are they the 19s you could have as an option over the standard 18s on the Astra VXR?
-
yes they were the 19inch bud, the zaffy gsi is indeed a very capable car/mpv/estate , mine was sent to thorney motorsport for a stage 4 plus a miltek full system, after a rolling road it produced 278bhp at the wheels which is quite impressive by any standard. miss it dearly now to be honest but much prefer the drive of the omega,it suits me better. :y
-
Praise indeed that you prefer the Omega. Not bad considering (and this is scary) that we're talking about a car that was designed and being tested back in 1989!
-
oh definately, omega is much nicer inside and to drive bud, i just wished i`d saved my dosh and bought the nicest mv6 i could find :-? :) respect to the omega thats what i say!!!! :y
-
The best looking wheel on the Omega is the 19" snowflake IMO.. But don't come cheap.

oh, Ive come over all funny........

jonny, in response to what others have said on this thread, i have a great set of facelift 17" elite wheels on offer, i'll PM you.
nice zafira there, the gsi's are the fastest people carrier in the world i think. arden blue is an amazing colour too but you have to watch what car its on. i did consider it for my cavalier respray but its just not going to work on it which is a shame.
you're right too, the wheels need to be solid and work with the car. those vxr alloys there looked great on the zafira. :y
-
cheers mate, theres muh i miss about the zaffy, mainly the power after it was stage 4 tuned, totally awesome!!!! agree about the colour mate, its not a colour to suit all vx`s :)

We could push this into another topic/thread...
Top ten Vauxhall Alloys
Top Ten Vauxhall Colours
!
My sad contribution would be Irmscher MV6 wheels and Champagne pearlescent.(Mk 1 vectra colour, would look lovely on a Senator/Omega/Calibra)
-
Best colour surely has to be Imperial green from the lotus carlton or maybe the red found on the mk2 cavalier calibre. Who knows hey, but the snowflakes must be in the top five alloys. Especially on an omega...
Not that I'm Biased or anything....

Haha! Not biased atall, no!
Carmine red, I think it was called? Classic colour. Basically the 80s version of Flame Red that EVERYTHING was in during the 90s. I thought of Imperial Green, but couldnt be bothered starting an argument about whether it is technically a Lotus colour, or some such..umm... buzzcocks!!

if you're going for strictly standard issue vx wheels, non irmscher etc, i love the facelift 17" omega alloys and not just cos i'm selling some :-X
they're like an updated version of the old cavalier gsi slabs, but with some mercedes e55 AMG influence thrown at them, and they look awesome on a whole bunch of griffins. this is them stuck on a mk4 astra coupe. lovely. that subtle dished effect in the middle really is very nice.

Wooooow!! Good choice :)
Praise to Luton/Russelsheim for interchangable parts!
Desparate to see what the new Insignia alloys look like on an Omega. I think there's some beautiful shapes, which would compliment the curves of a meega well.
