Post by: Jimmy Jerms on 04 November 2010, 19:24:09
About to replace gaskets as oil leaking into plug pots.

Used maintenance guide - Very helpfull - All part numbers correct - BUT.
Got all parts from local Vauxhall dealer. All gaskets plus 5lt collant -----------£187.00 Aghhhhhhh :'( :'( :'(

It looks like rubber doesn't grow on trees any more.

I know it's not what you want to hear after the event, but andyc is the man you wanted, he does them all as a kit at a reduced price for OOFers

and he's relatively local to in that other Bury (St Edmonds)

I went straight to dealer because the guide said not to trust third party parts.

Will consult members in future.
