Title: where to get Wishbones, and rear estate shocks?
Post by: MaxV6 on 03 November 2010, 13:45:32
where's the most cost effective place to get Lemforder Wishbones (or GM ones?) and what rear shocks to fit if i'm going to abandon the Monroe Ride levelling system??   and where to get them?

(for those in the dark, it's for a 2001 Facelift 3.2 MV6 estate)

Wishbones - Allgermanparts....but check availability, Ive had a 6 week odd wait, but they are on a van in the area as we speak  :y

many are favouring the polybush route instead now, Ill save that for next time.

you can get cheap / unbranded wishbones for £60 a pair, pay your money, take your chance.

Double that for the lemforder with 2 year guarantee from allgerman
more again from most other places..
(mine arrived mid afternoon, ordered 20th Sept!, last order in June was 3 days)

120 or so a side from Vaux!

I meant each :D Cheapo's I can pick up for around £20 a side but don't expect to get much more than 18 months out of them.

So 6 months less than Lemforder ones then!
