Every time I park and turn the engine off I get a Brake Pad warning flashing up.
All the pads were recently changed and none of the warning wiring is connected (they are all safely tied up out of the way too and insulated). I have had them all stripped down again just to see if there were any signs of problems but found nothing. The only shoes not changed were the handbrake ones. Is it possible the problem lies with them?
MOT due in March so no real rush.

Run a wire between the 2 contacts on each brake sensor plug, this will stop the warning :y

..........and rest assurred it has nothing to do with your rear brakes as they do not have any sensors connected to them ;) ;)

Sorry Lizzie Zoom,
As its an Elite it definitely has wear warning sensors on the rear pads too. None on the handbrake though cos I have just had it in bits again to recheck all pads, shoes, disks and drums.
Just going to do as advised and bridge all of the sensor probes out.
Thanx loads Welung666 I will get on with it. :y

Yours must be a one off then ;) As Jimbob says no wear sensors fitted to any Omega, you have a similar looking plug near by, but don't short that out, it'll be your ABS sensor. :y

The warning is from one of the front sensors, seeing as there aren't any on the back.
