Title: cruise controll fitting question

I'm picking up a 2001 mv6 3l manual at the weekend and wondering on this car is it just a mateer of fitting stalk and getting actavated on tech 2?

The 3.0 has a separate cruise control unit which will need fitting. On the plus side, it doesn't need a Tech 2 to enable it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is the part availbe to buy new from vauxhall or motor factors and secondly were doe it fit and how

It fits on the inner wing on the driver's side and operates the throttle through a short cable.

Second hand would be the best option. They often come up for sale when cars are broken and I wouldn't be surprised if they are a small fortune new.
