Was going on a honeymoon trip today.
Left the windows opened, and when I tried to close them there was some sort of a bang from the rear and the window just stopped. When I try to press the switch to raise it it doesn´t move. I managed to raise it by pressing the glass with my palms and pulling it up manually. It can still go down if you press the switch.
Does anyone know what can be the problem or had the same one.

If the windows have not been used regularly they tend to jam in the runners and the safety device thinks someone has trapped thier fingers, so the window stops and then tries to open again.
Looks like your problem. This can normally be fixed by squirting some silicone spray in the runners for the glass.
Meant to say congratulations. Hope this did not spoil your Honeymoon. :y :y

Dont think that is the problem cause that bang doesnt sound like the runners. Have no idea what can cause it.
Thanks for the advice Kneepad.

pull the door panel off, im guessing if its anything like one of my old omegas the pop rivets holding the window mech to the door have popped off.

Vauxfan2k was it an easy fix?

just drill out the old rivett and put new one in with a rivett gun. I replaced them all on that door at the same time, it was only one that had popped out but the rest didnt look too clever.
lasted the 4 years I had it so its worthwhile checking yours.
