Title: Torx Sockets?
Post by: unicus on 14 January 2008, 13:17:56
Looks like I need to do some work that'll need me to buy some Torx Sockets, but which sizes do you need for working on the Omiga? I don't want to bother buying any I don't need.

Thanks for those links and they would cover everything by the looks of it, at a good price as well but they "Normally despatched within 24-48 hours" and I need them now  (I've got a leak at the transfer pipe :( ) Anyone know anywhere local to Nottingham with similar deals? Halfords sell them individually but they're not cheap and I'd need to know the sizes.

Thanks for that, they do have a set (http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/pro44-14-pce-tx-bit-set/path/socket-sets-sockets-tool-sets) and it's in stock - bit more expensive, though I can pick it up in the morning.

I went to Machine Mart and got the "Clarke PRO151 29-Pce Metric Socket Set" (http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/pro151-29-pce-metric-socket-set) for £16.44, not bad I think. I also got the job done and the cars back on the road :)
