And they've always got a right cob on by the time they get airbourne too, as have all the passengers, of course. Flew with them once. Never again. >:(

Last time I flew Easyjet we impatiently waited ages in the boarding area, until finally the Captain and his very young, tiny, gorgeous lady co-pilot turned up late and we finally boarded.
I'm suppose I'm a bit of a chauvinist, but I nearly fell out of my seat when the Captain's first announcement was made. It was the girl.

LOL, I boarded an sleazy in Nice, noticed a woman sat in the drivers seat, and commented 'this will be interesting'.  Turned out I was right...   ...its certainly different coming fast and low (and banking) into Stanstead (diverted from Luton) with all the emergency vehicles chasing you down the runway...

I went to work on Stornoway for a couple of weeks this time last year and flew from Manchester to Glasgow. The wind was bad and the very small plane sort of dropped onto the runway at Glasgow which made me poo my pants, you should have seen my face when I boarded the even smaller plane to get to Stornoway and noticed a young female pilot. All the way there I pooping myself, anyway the plane came into land sideways and with a couple of feet before touchdown, straightened up and landed so softly you could hardly feel it. The next time I went I drove and it took me 9 hours of solid driving to get to Uig on Skye in my wifes Rover 25 Diesel. If I was asked to go again I would drive but take the Omega ;)

Textbook crosswind landing perfectly executed by the sound of it :y

Aircraft has to fly slightly into the wind so that it tracks straight down the runway then you yaw the aircraft round just before touchdown so the wheels don't hit the ground sideways.

Has to beat 9 hours in a Rover? :-X

Driving there was bad as I left at 11pm so it was dark but coming back the scenery is fantastic plus the torque the little diesel has made the hills quite entertaining :y

Yes it is a nice part of the world. Did a tour in the Westfield up to Skye and round that area. During the times when the weather is good there's no better place to be and the roads are fantastic. Problem is weather changes every 10 minutes. ::)

Mrs TB watches the bbc dancing tosh.  Anything that needs public to ring up and pay for the show is trash tv in my book, but due to her interest in dancing, I do let her watch that one...
