Title: What alarm/security is fitted for insurance purose

On a 97 Omega Elite what vehicle security is fitted as standard for insurance purposes please?

Factory fitted alarm/immobiliser

or Thatcham approved Cat1 or 2

?

Select factory fitted and the insurer will know what it is.

You are right Osprey but insurers see the selection of the Cat1/2 as an aftermarket fitting. Factory fit is the only option for the Omega fitted with an alarm as standard. It may void any claims made if they figure out you have given the wrong information :y
