Before you do all of that pop the rheostat out and check that (located near the heater motor) as that can stop the fan working. This is normally caused by the pollen filter cavity filling with water.

hi ok il check that i can fell the fan moving freely when i spin by hand when i go to check that unit is it controled by electric say by 4 wires and also is there a way of testing the fan to make sure that works
thanks

If you look through the link already posted you'll see the motor is powered by 2 wires (brown is the negative), just run a fused wire to the red and see if it runs, if it does it'll be the rheostat :y

ok i will test is that rheostat thing easy to change if it was that to be at fault
thanks
