Title: Cambelt change
Post by: Raymond on 26 November 2010, 07:48:46
Hello all. I am after a bit of advice.

Can anyone recommend a good garage in the Glasgow area (preferably East end) to get a cambelt change done on a 2.6 V6? Its 3000 miles overdue and my bum is getting twitchy!

There are a few members up your way, I'm sure one of them has a locking kit. Buy the cambelt dvd from the OOF shop and do it yourself ;) :y

I'm all for trying new things and I am pretty handy at some stuff but I don't know if I would trust myself to take on a job like that. I'd be too scared of getting to the end and having a "now where did this come from moment".

Be patient, I'm sure someone north of the border will be along soon to help out..... :y

You could always get the £3 dvd, then make a decision ;)

I find the hardest part is getting the airbox to plenum intake out :y
