Title: Pixalated On board computer

Does anyone know how to replace the on board computer as my one is pixalated.
 Or should this be left to the pro,s to do?

It's fairly easy to get the instrument cluster out and then just a case of removing the display from it.
It is possible to repair the display but the easiest option is replacement with a known working, second hand item...

There is probably a guide in the maintenance section for how to remove the dash.

The 'on board computer' is called the m.i.d. (multi info display), it just unscrews from the rest of the instrument cluster.

The problem is finding one that isn't as pixelated or worse then yours! Rare as rocking horse poo NOS!

Really? The one I sold from the Mv6 was fine.
The one I have now is also fine....

We suspect its not a MID - grey plug MIDs do not suffer pixel issues, thats why they are worthless ;)
