Title: breathers modification
Post by: millwall on 17 December 2010, 22:55:01
would it be possible to fit one of these to a omega http://www.redhotstyling.co.uk/ractive-25mm-mini-breather-crankcase-filter-p-1579.html

would it help  to stop the breathers getting clogged up  or would it be a no go  i was thinking if it would help maybe it could be retrofitted to the filler neck as its easily removed to modify

My thinking is it is in effect adding an airleak, so wont be too good.

I agree with JB. The breather system is under pressure and is part of the intake system, any openings in the system will make the ECU try to alter the mixtures to compensate. But this is very limited and will result in it running rough.
