Hi. I have now fitted 3 squibs but airbag light remains on. I am told possibe seat belt tensioners. How do I check these. Thanks Kev

You can chop & change as many parts of the SRS system as you like but without a proper code reader such as Tech II you will never find and/or eradicate the fault
-
It doesnt matter if you fix the fault....the light will remain on untl yuo turn it off with a diag computer. Have you got one / had it plugged in?
If not, where are you, someone local may be able to help.

even if you fix the fault by fitting a working squib/airbag/tensioner/etc the light will remin lit till reset with a code reader of sorts. ;) As Rob says, you need a reader to ask your car what's up, and then go from there. :y :y

I had the code read by a friend in Blackpool who advised a squib change and was told the light should go out after fitting. I have one of those cheap ebay tech2 readers/resetters, but does not seem to work on my car. I am in Worthing, Sussex

The air bag light is the only fault that won't self reset.

Mmm? My 'cheapo Tech II' will :-/ :-/ I've used it on my Astra & a couple of other Omega's SRS light.
